Afghanistan, 2001, shortly before the Taliban’s return. Naru, the only female camerawoman at Kabul’s largest television station, is fighting to retain custody of her son after leaving her unfaithful husband. When Qodrat, Kabul TV’s top reporter, offers her a career opportunity, she is surprised. As the two rush across the city to report on the political situation, Naru begins to wonder: Maybe there are good men out there after all?
