On a weekend trip to the countryside, Laura miraculously survives a car crash. Physically unhurt but deeply shaken, she is taken in by a local woman who witnessed the accident and now cares for Laura with motherly devotion. When her husband and adult son also give up their initial resistance to Laura's presence, the four of them slowly build up some family-like routine. But soon they can no longer ignore their past...

The professional jockey Remo Manfredini, an alcoholic and drug addict, causes a serious accident with an expensive horse belonging to his employer Sirena, in which he himself is also injured. Sirena swears revenge and wants to get rid of Remo. However, Remo has lost his memory in the accident. Suddenly freed from his past, he develops a new identity: Remo becomes Dolores.

Tilda’s days are strictly structured: she studies, works at the supermarket, looks after her little sister Ida and her alcoholic mother. This summer, though, things look like they might change when Tilda receives a promising job offer for a doctorate in Berlin. Not to mention, Viktor turns up, who, just like her, always swims 22 laps at the public pool. But then, just when she gets her hopes up for a better future, the situation at home spirals out of control.

The documentary film DER GORDISCHE KNOTEN tells the story of independent theater in the GDR and of the Zinnober group. In SIE, set in the “VEB Textilkombinat Treffmodelle Berlin,” women of different ages, roles, backgrounds, and social circumstances are introduced. DAS FREIE ORCHESTER was known for its avant-garde music and interpretations. At the end of the documentary, the band members play their song “Ham wa nich” and address the shortages in the GDR.

Solidarity is an irresistible feeling we celebrate, but in fact, it is mostly contradictory. This documentary delves into the phenomenon itself and uncovers the universal power of human rights. Five protagonists and the three crises in Belarus, Ukraine, and Gaza/Israel reveal to us both the bright and dark sides of solidarity.

77-year-old Tereza lives in a small industrial town in the Amazon region. One day, she receives official instructions from the government to move to a retirement community in a remote area. The younger generation is to focus entirely on productivity and economic growth instead. But Tereza resists. She embarks on a journey deeper and deeper into the Amazon region. She wants to fulfil one last wish before her freedom is taken away.
