77-year-old Tereza lives in a small industrial town in the Amazon region. One day, she receives official instructions from the government to move to a retirement community in a remote area. The younger generation is to focus entirely on productivity and economic growth instead. But Tereza resists. She embarks on a journey deeper and deeper into the Amazon region.
