Marius Müller-Westernhagen's “Halleluja Tour” fundamentally changed German live culture, and the accompanying album “LIVE” became one of the most successful German recordings of all time. Recorded at the Sporthalle in Hamburg in December 1989—just a few weeks after the fall of the Berlin Wall—the film, shot by star directors DoRo (Rudi Dolezal and Hannes Rossacher), captures the energy and euphoric mood of the time and shows Westernhagen at the zenith of his career.
