In the presence of the actor Erdem Senocak the Turkish Film Festival Munich presents the gripping political thriller Burning Days on 03.04.2023: Emre, a young and committed public prosecutor, is newly appointed to a small town heavily affected by a water crisis and political scandals. The town of Balkaya welcomes the young gay man warmly at first, but suddenly events come to a head. Emre investigates his first case and is involuntarily drawn into the political power struggles of the town. The web of intrigue, turmoil and corruption becomes ever more tangled and soon threatens to swallow Emre whole when he befriends the journalist Murat, who in turn is on a hot and dangerous trail.
