Children and teenagers were the main victims of World War II. The newsreel DER AUGENZEUGE repeatedly reported on the situation between scarcity and the return to everyday life. We show a cross-section of Berlin between surrender and reconstruction, school meals, puppet theater, and infant milk kitchens. This will be followed by a screening of SHERRIF TEDDY, directed by Heiner Carow.
