Millie and Tim move from New York to a remote house in the countryside. While exploring the surrounding forest, they are caught in a thunderstorm and have to spend the night in a cave. The next morning, they notice nightmarish changes in their bodies that bring them closer together than they ever hoped. Panicked, they try to stop the physical transformation process that is beginning to threaten their existence as individuals.
