Every year at the end of June/beginning of July, people celebrate the diversity of film in the relaxed atmosphere of the Munich summer. FILMFEST MÜNCHEN is an audience festival, discovery festival, international premiere festival and the No. 1 platform for German filmmaking all in one.

Numerous international and German filmmakers - including international stars such as Gillian Anderson - present more than 150 films in Munich and engage in conversation with the audience at Q&As after the screenings and at the free FilmTalks in the festival center.

From June 27 to July 6, 2025, you can experience diverse cinema from all over the world, fresh film gems from Cannes and German film and series highlights on the big screen.

The complete program will be published on 18 June, tickets will be available a few days later on the Filmfest website .
